I have no clue what an anime called Samurai Flamenco could possibly be about (sexy dancing samurai perhaps?). Whatever the content it has some sharp character designs and that has to count for something right? Right?

noitaminA to air new Yasuomi Umetsu anime “Galilei Donna”
Acclaimed dangerous-young-woman-involved-with-strange-older-men anime director Yasuomi Umetsu is working in tandem with A-1 pictures to produce a new anime project (that is regrettably NOT Kannagi S2 btut it’s cool I’m not bitter or anything) about famed astronomer Galileo Galilei’s female descendants. The anime is slated to air in October and has a brief promo detailing the admittedly lovely character designs.

Code:Breaker to end on July 17th
Increasingly convoluted Shounen action manga Code:Breaker is coming to a close in this year’s 33rd issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shounen magazine. As a long-time follower of this manga I can say that this is probably the best thing for this manga right now. Still I shall miss the escapades of Ogami Rei and his merry men (and the beautiful Hachiouji).
