My friend came across this flash-based game online called Super Smash Flash Demo.
The controls take a little getting used to, but this game has MAJOR potential!
I happened to capture some of the gameplay while I was skyping with said friend

Sorry folks, I’ve been MIA for quite some time.
Nintendo is just exploding with new games for fans. E3 was around the corner and they’ve announced Super Smash Bros 4 (I know that’s their most anticipated game for 2014).
Some games that came across my mind were Super Luigi U, Mario Kart 8, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Super Mario 3D World and….
well, that’s all I really want to cover to be honest.

With the permission of my peers, I CAN NOW UNLEASH MY FANBOY-ISM OF MEGA MAN!
Without further ado, do any of you know what THIS is?!
That’s right, it’s ULTIMATE ARMOR X. And not JUST any Ultimate Armor X, it’s the FIRST VERSION of this armor (you can tell by the color palette) introduced in Mega Man X4.
So, here’s the dialogue from Dr. Light in Mega Man X4 when you obtain the parts
This capsule contains the secret parts for the Ultimate Armor. When you execute the Nova Strike, the wings will open and you can execute the invincible body crash attack.
So you’re there reading this like, “Holy crap, I’m going to be a god?!” But then he continues,
… However, this armor is not completed yet and your safety is not assured. If this is acceptable to you, enter now…
And at that point, you really don’t care, so you hop in to get the super cool armor anyway.
That being said, who wouldn’t want this masterpiece sitting in their room? When all goes to hell, YOU KNOW ULTIMATE ARMOR X IS GOING TO PROTECT YOU.
Seriously.
I mean, I don’t have it.. yet.
But it’s a must have!
Also, if you haven’t taken a look at this one either:
This is Zero. I’m sure many of you know that. But this is the FIRST Zero, introduced in the first game. How do you know? He looks plain! He’s missing his shoulder pieces, his armor is under-designed, and he has not acquired his Z-Saber yet. This Zero, in his entirety, was more powerful than Mega Man X in the beginning.
If you’re going for fan appreciation, pick these up.

Putting that aside, my name is Jonathon Mark John Law. However, you can call me Jonny Law. In fact, please call me Jonny Law. I insist that you refer to me by that name than my full name (in fact, just thinking about it makes me shudder).
Now, although I may not have as much anime knowledge as the next guy around here, I’m very knowledgeable when it comes to Video Games and.. I guess some random things. My forte lies in the Mega Man series (whether it be the OVA adaptations, the video games, how the stories connect, etc.) and I may be able to answer any questions that anyone has about the series overall.
I must say, I’m glad they added me to this project. It gives me an opportunity to contribute my own experiences involving pop culture (modern or not) to society.
